By Thursday
morning it was no doubt that we were going to be in the path of the
hurricane so my first stop was to make sure Elizabeth was ready.
I came in
with my camera and laptop. The plan was to take a picture so we could
email it to her 2 sisters, Pauline and Joann, showing them that
Elizabeth had her radio, flashlight, and medicines.
Once we got
online we had so much fun surfing the net that we forgot about sending
the email.
I checked on
Elizabeth a couple of days after the storm and she had her electricity
back, had people in her kitchen eating hard crabs and she told me that
she had sold her generator and was ready to go to Richmond and by a
laptop.
